The MoMo team has millions to fire up a rally, get the stock moving up thru buying , then when retail buyers (you and me) rush into the stock , then some MoMo makers (momentum makers) switch to shorting by selling  DRIVE the stock down by selling (hitting every bidders offer to buy stock) .

This triggers retail stop losses and a huge avalanche of shares being sold . Then legit Brokerage house # suck up all the shares at a discount to cover their short trades

and some so they can be ready to sell to retail at a profit when they rally it back up.

And it always seems to be the day before big news, a rumour(leak) gets to the MoMo makers before it hits the news.

Its pure manipulation and illegal but TSX allows this anonymous to function. No investigation . So the strategy is to ALWAYS try to trade as anonymous trades. A day traders paradise.

Playing between the Bollinger Bands range which repeats up and down using the one minute measurement. This pattern happens every half hour lately.

Day Traders sell at the top of the Bollinger band and buy at the bottom of the band. With a move that could be .30-.60 cents 1-2 times per hour  every trade day.

This works for day traders but not buy and hold...

If you buy and hold you need bottles of antacids and love roller coasters and HOLD ON .

Just pick a target i.e.$30.00 to sell your shares and go about your life and ignore the UPS and DOWNS. Aphria is going to $30-50.00 once it hits the NYSE . So one day you will wake up be rich.
