Inv Reporter says buy Yamana Gold

The Investment Reporter, in the May 9, 2008, issue, says buy Yamana Gold Inc., recently $14.88. The Reporter said buy on July 7, 2007, at $12.60 per share.
An investment of $1,000 for the buy would now be worth $1,175. Yamana Gold expects to become a senior producer in 2008, partly thanks to its acquisitions of Meridian Gold Inc. and Northern Orion Resources Inc., in October, 2007.
However, the Reporter would rather use the wait-and-see approach before moving the company to another category. It will consider Yamana Gold a senior once it produces more than a million ounces.
